This blog has learned that the University of Buffalo Bulls will call to a higher power on Saturday. Thanks to an unnamed source (I'm thinking someone from the rough and tough area of Bethal Park), former Bulls QB, Joe Freedy, will be with Buffalo for their pre-game prayer.
What makes Freedy able to do this for his alma mater? The former Bethal Park and University of Buffalo (1999-2001) QB is now Father Joe Freedy and is currently at St. Paul's in Crafton, PA. Once Freedy was done at Buffalo, he took a long journey to serve as a priest in the Catholic church and after some time in Italy, amongst other places, he is back home in Pittsburgh.
